Over the past 5 seasons Sandy has gone from farming and having a few homebred point to pointers to winning the last 3 runnings of the Borders National, the Grade 2 Rendelsham Hurdle, the Dipper Chase at Cheltenham, the Listed Totepool Chase at Kelso and now running Seeyouatmidnight in the Grand National.
Sandy has been successful in rejuvenating older horses but he has also won with bumpers and novice hurdles with young horses. This has been achieved by treating no two horses the same, every horse receives full individual attention and benefits from the varied facilities based on site. This means that the horses are healthy both physically and mentally which is the aim that the yard strives for to give each race horse every chance of performing consistently to the best of their ability. This approach is carried out by the determined and hardworking staff who are fully aware of how each horse in the yard is being trained and they are constantly asked for their input.
